Paul O'Brien appointed as Commercial Manager 06 October 2014

Anthony Leighs is delighted to announce Paul O’Brien as Commercial Manager. Paul's appointment comes at a time when Leighs is looking to increase its national presence.

Paul has more than 25 years’ experience in the construction industry and joins Leighs from his former position as National Commercial Risk Manager at Hawkins Construction.

“Early on, I identified Leighs as being an exciting, progressive company. I’m thrilled to join the Leighs team during such dynamic times in the construction industry and to be able to play an integral role in the company’s growth and success. Leighs is of a size to be credible in the marketplace and has the flexibility to respond to changing market requirements.  This has been displayed recently by the company appointing a new Preconstruction Manager, for example” says Paul.

“My goal is to grow the capability of the business and work with the project teams to identify potential contractual, financial and construction risks. Leighs has a fantastic reputation and a wealth of high calibre professionals eager to be the best in the industry,” says Paul.

Anthony says he and his Board of Directors have strategically grown the company, which holds a leading position in Canterbury, through a strong and sustainable growth approach.
