Leighs Awarded Platinum at New Zealand Commercial Project Awards27 May 2016

It was a proud moment for the company at the New Zealand Commercial Project Awards, when founder Anthony Leighs was presented with the Platinum Award, awarded to named members of the project team who have won five or more national titles. Platinum is only awarded to an organisation once, being the highest accolade that can be achieved in the awards. 


The award recognised the following national category winning projects:

2010 Tourism and Leisure Project Award Winner

Kaiapoi New World 
2013 Retail Project Award Winner

CDHB Christchurch Hospital Parkside Wards & AMAU
2014 NALCO Health Project Award and Allied Concrete $5-$15million Value Award Winner 

Christchurch Eye Surgery
2015 NALCO Health Project Awrd Winner

Botanic Gardens Visitor Centre, Christchurch
2015 Placemakers Tourism & Leisure Project Award Winner


This topped off an evening that also saw Leighs presented with a national category win for the Mainfreight Christchurch project, which was awarded silver, along with silver awards for 142 Kilmore Street and Stage One of The Hub at Hornby.
